Travelling to Riverside Tennis Club

Travelling by train to  Riverside

Salisbury Railway Station is only 4 minutes walk away from the club.

The best route is to walk via Devizes Road and then taking the right turn into Kingsland Road.

Two Options From Here!

1.  Kensington Road will then take you across the wildflower meadow, onto a track which will give you access to our top gate.

2.  Continue to the bottom of Kingsland Road and then turn left in front of the Scout Hut into Coldharbour Lane.  Follow this track for 200 yards before arriving at our Car Park on the left.

Travelling by bus to Riverside

There are many bus stops on both Devizes Road and Castle Road which will leave you within a short walk to Riverside.

Walking from Devizes Road

From Devizes Road, turn into Kingsland Road.

You can then either:

1.  turn left into Kensington Road, follow the track through the wildflower meadow and then turn right along the footpath until you reach our top gate.

2.  Keep going until you reach the bottom of Kingsland Road and turn left into Coldharbour Lane.  You can then walk along the track for 200 yards before reaching our Car Park on the left.

Walking/Cycling to Riverside

Riverside Tennis Club is a  25 minute walk from the centre of Salisbury.

Once the River Park project has been completed, this will be a very pretty walk too!

The club is planning to buy a bike rack soon as we would very much like to encourage people to cycle or walk to the club!

Driving to Riverside

We do not have an "official" postcode so please type "Fisherton Farm Allotments" into your Sat Nav.

The Car Park is situated 200 yards along Coldharbour Lane Track on the left.

You can approach the club from either Devizes Road or Castle Road.

Devizes Road

The club is signposted from Devizes Road.  Turn right into Kingsland Road and then follow the road to the bottom of the hill where you turn left onto Coldharbour Lane Track.

Castle Road

Turn off Castle Road into Butts Road.

Go straight over the mini roundabout and pass the Fire Station on the left.

Take the next turning on the RIGHT into Coldharbour Lane and when the road turns up the hill, take the lane in front of the Scout Hut.  Our Car Park is then situated 200 yards up the lane on the left.
