Finals Day 2017
A wet and cold day meant we could only play one and a half rounds this year. Remaining matches were rescheduled!
Rather a familiar scene this summer!
The rain couldn't ruin the food which was superb as usual!
Carolyn absolutely loving the weather.
Mini Red players back in the club house after their impressive matches. Charlie beat his brother Rory in the final.

Charlie and Rob sensibly started early and finished before the weather got too bad! Charlie won this year's 18 & Under singles in two straight sets.
Karina and Michael loving their cup after beating Carolyn and Nick to retain their Mixed Doubles Title.
Mixed drawn finalists - Sam, Philippa, Sara and Nick. Sam and Phillipa came out on top of a close match.
Bill presents the mini-orange trophy to Jack; Ben was the runner-up.
Mike presents the vets men's doubles trophy to Steve and Ken.
Men's vets finalists - Graham, Steve, Ken and Bill.
Cameron beat Jake in the 11 & Under Final.
Harriet beat Amber in a very close mini-girls' final.
The Ladies Doubles was played on the following Tuesday and resulted in a win for Eila and Carolyn
The weather finally behaved for long enough to enable Sarah and Steve beat Anne and Bill 6-4 6-4.
Storm Aileen arrived in time to continue the rainy theme for this year's finals! Michael and Jamie won 6-1 6-1 but think everyone deserves at least a chocolate medal for battling the wind and rain to complete the match!
The last final to be played was the Men's Singles Final. A big crowd came down on a rare sunny afternoon to watch a high quality match between the brothers. Mike took the first set 7-5 before Jamie eventually won 5-7 6-2 6-4.
