Finals Weekend 2026
The great summer weather returned for Finals' Weekend! The Tournament Committee had done their usual great job of ensuring all the earlier rounds had been completed in time and the new addition of a party on Saturday evening was excellent! Thank you very much to Jane and George for all their hard work cooking all the food and preparing the entertainment. As usual the selection of cakes baked by our members were amazing too!

Jamie beat Olivier in a very high quality Men's Singles Final
Carlos beat Sandy in the 18 & Under Boys' Singles
Liz and Louise beat Kay and Carolyn to win their first Ladies' Doubles Championship
Kay and Liz beat Louise and Hilary to win the Ladies Doubles Vets' Final
Hattie presented Jamie with the Men's Singles' Trophy
Ollie won the three-way Mini Green Competition. Olivia came second and Alexandra third.
Olivia was runner-up in the mini green competition.
Olivia won the mini orange competition with Ben as runner up and Florence in third place.
Steve and Ken beat Bill and Richard in the Vets' Men's Doubles Final
Bill and Anne won the Vet's Mixed Doubles Title
Bill and Anne beat Steve and Pauline in the Mixed Veterans' Final and Pam presented the trophy
Hugo won an excellent three way play off, Sam finishedas runner-up with Jack in third place.
Sam beat Tommy in the 14 & Under Final
Amanda and Nick won a very entertaining Mixed Drawn final against Kay and Rob
Karina presented the 11 & Under Trophy to Henry who beat Jack in the final. Ollie won the third place play-off against Elijah.
Sal and Jane won the Ladies' Drawn Competition against Sally and Sara
Mike and Jiselle retained their Mixed Chosen title with a win over Jamie and Hattie
Myles won the three-way play off in the 12 & Under Competition. Damian was the runner-up and Henry came third in a very high-quality competition.
Our mini red competition was a three way play off which was won by Ben. Jonty was the runner-up and Emi came third. Great tennis guys!
The last match on court was the Men's Drawn final which was won by Nick and Nick but Jamie and George battled well!
